Release Date: November 11, 2015
Series: The Gauging Pointe (Book 2)
Pages: 140
Excerpt:
Cherished and his. The words play back, distracting me from the worrisome line in his statement. What might happen to me while we're in town? Damian is locked away for good. What could happen? I want to argue with him but the look on his face tells me there is no room for compromise. I'm faced with a choice; either fight him on Trent, or wait to have it out about the idea of me being ok to make love again. It's a no brainer I guess, if this is what it is going to take to make him feel more comfortable while we're here, I suppose I can go along with it, for now, although that doesn't mean I'm not going to put a pin in the discussion for a later date, when we are not in front of company.
My thoughts:
Bethany and Jax are spending the winter in New York. Their lives are different and Jax is different.
I enjoyed seeing the transformation from Bethany in Fun and Games to Bethany in The Gauging Pointe. She's stronger, more confident.
Jax is struggling with being in the city and not on the road doing what he loves. He's still adjusting to having a partner to share his life with.
There is drama, twists, suspense, and of course sexy time. This is a continuation from Fun and Games, the first book in The Gauging Pointe series, and does have a slight cliffhanger ending.
Ready for book three!
