Release Date: January 21, 2016
Pages: 140
Excerpt:
"There is no fault when I'm only telling you what you've told me. I'm repeating your words to you, babe. You wonder how we got here. This is how."
"How do we get past it?" she asks. "Because I think I want to. I don't think giving up is the right thing to do."
I'm quiet for a long time before I pick my pencil back up and start in on the drawing again. "I don't know."
The truth, for once, will hopefully set us free.
My thoughts:
Sketch is an average guy going through relationship issues and has to decide which way he wants his life to go. Nina is tired of coming in second and just wants to feel loved.
This is my first time reading something by Laramie Briscoe and I really enjoyed it. The story is sweet and shows a real relationship. There are ups and downs and angry words but actions matter most. I highly recommend Sketch!
