Excerpt:
"His charm went beyond the compliments though. He had to be, without doubt, the most relaxed person I'd ever met, so comfortable in his own skin. Which was the opposite of myself. I'd have given anything to be that outgoing and fearless.
So I found myself, if anything, with a small crus. That feeling I'd been desperately chasing - he gave it to me. And like any good drug, I wanted more. The number of women that had come before me and would surely come after me...well, that number was irrelevant."
My Opinionated Opinion:
Sydney has selfish parents and is invisible in high school. Oh her sixteenth birthday her heart is broken by the guy she has a crush on. But, it is also the first time she feels like someone truly sees her.
Rhett Morgan, man-whore extraordinaire, has a serious reputation. Everyone in town knows who he is and he embraces it. Until he encounters a sad green-eyed girl that gives him her first kiss.
Sydney and Rhett are frustrating, funny, and adorable together. They have a connection that is inescapable. I loved how their story unfolded and also all the drama and insecurities that kept them apart. It was frustrating but in a good way. The ending just makes you love them together even more.
